I am an academic editor, writing coach, and writer with more than 17 years’ experience. I completed my MEd and PhD at the University of Toronto and held a number of positions in health sciences research and education. I have authored and co-authored journal articles, book chapters, conference posters, presentations, and abstracts; developed and contributed to successful grant applications, including a $7M CIHR grant; and created educational materials for diverse audiences. As an editor and writing coach, I work with authors to improve their writing skills and writing. I focus on improving clarity, organization, and flow; identifying and addressing gaps in content; correcting grammar and spelling; and meeting style guidelines (Chicago, APA, Vancouver, and Harvard).
