With more than 17 years’ experience in research and academe, I edit journal articles, grant proposals, book chapters, reports, evidence briefs, and abstracts.

I work with authors to improve the articulation of their ideas, experiences, and knowledge, with a focus on:

• copyediting—correcting grammatical errors, punctuation, spelling, and word use.
• stylistic editing—clarifying, refining, and simplifying sentences/paragraphs, eliminating repetition and jargon, and applying style/author guidelines (APA, Chicago, Vancouver,  Harvard).
• substantive/structural editing—improving flow/organization and identifying gaps in content.
